How Xi Tools handles files, URLs, analytics, cookies, server logs, and contact messages.

Files and browser-side tools

Most Xi Tools converters and utilities run in your browser. For those tools, selected files are processed locally on your device and are not uploaded to Xi Tools servers.

Server-side requests

Some features need server access. Public media URL tools send the URL you enter to Xi Tools so the server can read public page metadata and return available source links. Xi Tools does not store, proxy, merge, transcode, or download the media file.

Blog publishing and image rehosting features may fetch or store images needed for Xi Tools's own site content.

Logs, analytics, and cookies

Our hosting provider may collect standard server logs such as IP address, user agent, request path, timestamp, and error diagnostics to keep the site secure and reliable.

Xi Tools may use Google Analytics when configured. Analytics helps us understand aggregate traffic and tool usage. Google may use cookies or similar technologies according to its own policies.

Rate limits and abuse protection

To protect uptime and proxy bandwidth, Xi Tools may hash request details such as IP address and browser user agent into rate-limit keys. These keys are used to detect cooldowns, abuse, and spam, not to identify a person directly.

Contact messages

If you email us, we receive the information you choose to include, such as your email address, name, message, and any URLs or files you reference. We use that information to respond and handle the request.

Your choices

You can avoid analytics cookies by using browser controls or privacy tools. For copyright, privacy, or deletion requests, use the DMCA and contact page.
